The first word of the sentence is installed in Kliptown, one of the oldest parts of the former black township of Soweto in Gauteng, Johannesburg, South Africa.
The installation is hosted by Soweto Kliptown Youth Centre and is supported by its founder Bob Nameng as it is by on-site curator Indra Wussow of the Sylt Foundation.
In cooperation with ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, Germany, REMOTEWORDS installs a message with five words on five continents authored by Peter Weibel on the occasion of GLOBALE.
