Berlin´s Akademie der Künste will be devoted to a topical, highly political theme. EMBEDDED ART looks at the threats to unrestricted public life following the 9/11 attacks. Security issues in the 21st century have an impact on the day-to-day life of millions of people, it has become a new ideology, the ´mantra´ of civilised society.

The NAK Neuer Aachener Kunstverein is a contemporary art space focused on conceptual art. It is located in a beautiful public garden in the city of Aachen Germany. Director Melanie Bono is representing the philosophy of her house with a statement on the roof of the building. A roof that can also be seen by the park strollers – taking a leisure walk.

RW.3 Edith Russ Site

Location: Edith Russ Site for Media Art, Oldenburg/Germany

On the occasion of the Museum Night REMOTEWORDS will switch on the Edith Russ Site for Media Art with a single word. An appropriate message is displayed on the roof of the exhibition house. It will be broadcast live by video camera in the presentation room and only directly visible on 20 September.
