FIVE ROOFS | FIVE CONTINENTS

Location: Port-au-Prince, Haiti, America
Curator on site: Leah Gordon and André Eugène, Ghetto Biennale Haiti

The second location to be realised is located in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, supported by on- site curators Leah Gordon and André Eugène. Gordon and Eugène are the co-directors of the Ghetto Biennale, which is hosted by the Haitian artist collective Atis Rezistans, that will open its 4th edition this year in November with the theme of KREYÒL, VODOU and the LAKOU: forms of resistance.

The installation was painted by Patrick Elie aka Kombatan and Jean Daniel; documented by Pierre Adler and Love Leonce.

In cooperation with ZKM | Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe, Germany, REMOTEWORDS installs a message with five words on five continents authored by Peter Weibel on the occasion of GLOBALE.

The first location has been realised at TAIPEI ARTIST VILLAGE, home for artistic nomads and a cultural interchange space in the city centre of Taipei, Taiwan. The installation was supported by international curator Annie Ivanova and her local team.
